Does my supplier need to use Jewel Pavilon?
Yes, your supplier must use Jewel Pavilion to run their website. Jewel Pavilion is what allows us to create your Private Label.

What is that number in the URL?
That is the IP address of your supplier's online inventory database.

Why is that number in the URL?
Your website and your supplier's online inventory are located in different places. In order to link up to the online inventory, we use the IP address instead of the domain name for a more anonymous URL.

Can people find out where my inventory comes from?
It is possible to trace the supplier using the IP address, however the average customer will not have the knowledge to do so.

Is it possible to hide the IP address?
It is possible to hide the IP address by loading the inventory pages into an iframe on the home website. However, implementation of the iframe is up to your website developer, unless you are the purchaser of a Full Private Label Website, in which case DJW is your website developer. Use of an iframe must be indicated at the start of the project.

Does my supplier need to use DJ Wizard?
No, your supplier does not need to use DJ Wizard. Your supplier does need to have an online inventory, which can be set up using uploads from DJ Wizard or other sources.

My supplier does not have a website. Can I still put their inventory on my website?
No, a Private Label set up requires an online inventory. If your supplier does not have a website it is unlikely they have an online inventory. We can set up an online inventory for you or your supplier with the purchase of a Jewel Pavilion product.

Do I need to do anything to update the inventory?
No, the inventory is updated automatically.

How often is the inventory updated?
That depends on the frequency your supplier updates his own site. Typically the inventory is updated either once an hour or once a day.

Can I change the markup on the diamonds myself?
Yes, there is a control page that allows you to enter a flat markup (or discount) on all the diamonds. You will be provided with a login and password to access that control page.

Does the Private Label markups affect the supplier's website?
No, the prices for each Private Label are calculated separately from the supplier's base prices.
